Campus Beautification - Earth Day

All these efforts are in preparation for our upcoming Garden Beautification Day, scheduled for April 21st. This event promises to be both educational and enjoyable, sponsored by the City of Santa Monica, the PTA, and the California Climate Action Corps. On that Sunday, students and families are invited to participate in a range of activities along side California Climate Action Corps volunteers, including: Designing and painting compost bin lids and wood boards Weeding garden beds Cleaning and reorganizing the garden shed and outdoor plant shed Assisting with compost bins and piles Pruning identified trees and shrubs Additionally, attendees will be treated to a pancake breakfast and other fun activities. We strongly encourage you to join us with your families for what promises to be not only a fun morning but also an opportunity to engage in meaningful service that benefits our local community and our planet. By reducing waste and making our school and world greener, we are playing our part in creating a better environment for future generations.
